Rooff are delighted that the winner of the AJ Retrofit Award School Project of the Year is Streatham and Clapham High School. Rooff constructed a new Sixth Form Centre at roof level and the ground floor extension to create a new dining hall designed by Cottrell & Vermeulen Architects for the Girls Day School Trust.
The award winning Garden Museum by Dow Jones Architects has won an AJ Retrofit Award in the Museum and Galleries category. The project team that helped create this outstanding cultural building included Gardiner & Theobald LLP, Momentum Structural Engineers, Or Consult, Pierce Hill and BBS Site Services.
Alexandra College is one of three Rooff projects to win an AJ Retrofit Award. The project by Haverstock Associates won the Higher and Further Education Award. The conversion and refurbishment of this listed building formed a new further education college for young people aged 16-25 years with severe and complex needs.
